Southwestern High Desert Photo Tour | 2015

The Southwestern United States contains, arguably, some of the most beautiful landscapes in the country. Rugged, dry, hot and dusty, it is difficult to appreciate close up. The terrain and the climate will make you work for every vista, every canyon, and every cactus that you photograph.

This road trip started out as a wider sweep of the Southwest than the year before. Unfortunately, it was cut short, and left me with less than a thousand total images from which to choose the best photos of my journey. These are the 40 best shots. Enjoy.
