People
People are where it's at when I pick up a camera. Whether they are the main subject and are made up and touched up or I'm shooting candids of them doing what comes naturally, even when they are there only to give the subject scale and context, it is people who catch the eye first. It's what we're drawn to — other people.
Given the range of human activity, getting bored with photographing people is simply not in the cards. Young or old, fat, thin, or really buff, the sheer variety makes photographing people intensely fun and endlessly fascinating. Whether I see them as part of a group or intimately individual and unique, people are always surprising and provide insight into who and what we are as human beings.
