DoDeCaID #:Maximum Size — 48" x 48"Medium — Digital Painting, face-mounted to a 1/4" thick sheet of acrylicUsing an entirely new technique, this piece combines the chaotic, abstract style I've used for much of the past 20 years with patterns I've created and blended together. Out of this confluence comes an ordered chaos that is, I think, the best of both styles.

OvumID #:Maximum Size — 60" x 60"Medium — Giclée on Fine Art Paper
Winged PursuitID #:Maximum Size — 78" x 48"Medium — Giclée on Fine Art PaperIt took some time for this piece to present itself in its final form. "Winged Pursuit" is an exercise in restraint. The color was originally more saturated, practically screaming at the viewer. Muting the palette gives it the sense of calm it has, yet it retains the richness of earlier stages in its creation.
In The VoidID #:Maximum Size — 72" x 48"Medium — Giclée on Fine Art PaperThe difficulty in creating this piece presented itself in trying — as much as it was possible — to simplify the texture. Viewed up close, the detail is almost overwhelming. You can almost feel the texture. As usual, I don't reveal what I see in the painting. But I would like to know what you see. Please leave a comment and share your thoughts.
PrologueID #:Maximum Size — 72" x 48"Medium — Giclée on Fine Art PaperThis reworked version of my painting from a few years ago came about because of my need for texture. At print size, it takes on the texture of a roughly scratched stone or concrete surface, giving it dimensionality and depth. The red and blue combination serves to fool the eye into making micro adjustments to focus on each color. Because they're at opposite ends of the color spectrum, the eye can only focus on one at a time.
